PLEASE READ:01/11/2007 - For most of the last 3 years, I have had some medical issues that have created long periods of time that I have been unavailable to do the processing of peoples orders. I have been accused of screening calls, not answering the phone, hiding, etc. I have been called a crook, a thief, a panhandler, rip-of-artist and a lot of other creative and vulgar names.

After careful consideration and thought, I have decided to discontinue all mail order business for the foreseeable future. Most likely it will be permanently discontinued. We will no longer accept any new orders of any kind.

This has been a hard decision to make, but I am no longer physically well enough to put in the amount of hours per day required to get everyone s orders shipped in a timely manner. I have tried repeated to hire people to do the pulling, packing and shipping with very poor results. I have even tried to hire employees through places like Penski, Kelly Services, etc. It just does no good. No matter how much they are paid, or where they are hired from they simply do NOT have to knowledge of Vintage parts, and can not do the job without me holding their hands.

Since I have to baby sit them, I might just as well save the money I pay out for useless hired help. That means I have to do it myself, and that is not something I want to do. There is NOTHING in this life that I hate more than standing there packing parts in boxes for endless hours every day. Since I do not like to do it, and I can not seem to find someone who can - then it is time for it to end completely.

I apologize for any inconvenience this causes, but that is the way it is going to be. I have packed most all of the outstanding undelivered orders in the past week. Many of you waiting for delivery will start to receive your items soon. There are only about 20 orders left that have not been processed, which I will finish as soon as humanly possible. I have been taking as many packages as I can fit into my neighbors small car to the Post Office every day for shipping. I will continue to process and ship all the remaining outstanding orders.

Some of the parts have been destroyed in the past few years due to poor storage facilities. As soon as I am financially able I will issue refunds for all parts that I am unable to deliver for any reason. Unfortunately, my lack of medical insurance has cost me an obscene amount of money in medical expenses, and without income of any kind.

I wish the best of luck in your projects, and that you will be able to find the parts you need elsewhere to finish them. This website will remain until such time as the domain registration expires, then it will most likely be discontinued unless I find another use for it.

For those of you who are angry with me, I apologize for delayed deliveries, out of stock parts, lost time, the rain, the snow, the rising cost of living, and what ever else you may be blaming me for.
